Since youre already in the EWS to use webscan that will make things easier. You want to go to settings along the top, then administrator settings, from there you should have a list of options to enable or disable including webscan.

I have learnt how to enable the webscan using the above instructions.
However for the change to take effect, I am advised to turn my printer off and then on.
The only toruble is, every time I turn my computer or my printer off, my webscan is deactivated.
Therefore enabling webscan in this way has no effect whatsoever.
Please advise how to proceed.
I am running Windows 7 by the way.
