I have a hp pcs 2550 photosmart printer.
I just tried to use printer after long time but it's not printing again.
So I just took the cartridge out and reinserted back.
But now only yellow light glowing and nothing happening.
Can you help me to make it work and also how to check if ink is dry or not.

some possibilities:

1. Your ink is dry

2. Your catridge is damaged

if you wanna check the catridge dry or not, you can take the catridges out, and wipe with a tissue at the bottom. If the ink is not dry it will appear 3 colors.

And then if the problem your ink is dry the solution is put your catridge at warm water for 10 minutes, But only the bottom of the catridge. you can find tutorial at youtube for this tips.
