I have my computer connected to the plotter Jetdirect card via my internet modem. The computer does not see the plotter and Win 10 does not list the plotter and everything I have tried has not worked. Any help would be appreciated.

Try downloading the universal hpgl2 driver and then on the computer use the add printer, next, use the create port and in the drop down choose standard tcp/ip and then next, enter the ip address of the printer (has to be in the same frame as the computer) and when you get to the makers page choose have disk and navigate to where you downloaded and ran the program for the universal driver and finish up and it should work.

Hi ,

I have bad news for you. The printer you have is no longer supported by HP, meaning that HP will not release a driver for Windows 10.

The issue you are having is compatibility related, you should consider to get a replacement compatible with newer OSs

Sorry this reply took so long, work gets in the way. So I tried to match the IP numbers and still do not have any recognition. Should never have changed to WIN 10.

What do you mean you tried to match ip numbers? You may be doing something wrong or something may have changed since you went to windows 10. Please tell us the ip address the the printer, the ip address of the computer (ipconfig at dos prompt will tell you) and how the computer is connected to the network and how the printer is connected to the network.
