I get a Ink System failure 0xc19a0022. I have turned off and on the printer several times. I have also followede the steps in the troubleshooting found at http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01458034

I got to the step asking me to replace the printhead. This will be the third printhead that we have had to replace with this printer in the last year. At nearly $100 a pop we could have bought a brand new printer for what our company has paid to try and keep this printer going.

Is there anything I can do with this printer to fix the problem without having to replace the printhead? If the only option is printhead replacement then our company is going to swtich to other pinters that are not HP.

Hi DrafterOLE,

The best I can suggest is to call HP. HP might actually be able to offer you a discount on a newer printer. For a reasonable price, you can get a newer printer, a full set of inks, be back in warranty, and not have to continue fussing with your current printer.

The number to call HP is 1-800-474-6836 for Canada and US, or you can Contact HP Worldwide.

You have done all of the right troubleshooting, followed the correct document, there is nothing more you could do other than replace the printhead or the printer.

Thanks for reaching out to the HP Forums.
