Deskjet 3755
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Deskjet 3755 is a piece of cramp want my money back. had it all working and went to use it the next day and it won't find the network. light keeps blinking the shuting off. I am tech and have done everything humanly possible to get it working and it just won't work. Network (routers, wireless routers and other devices are working all find.) have went in to the wireless router to set it up that way too. nothing is not working on this one. I need a printer that will work on wireless and for Iphones/Ipads for work. Apple said this one should do the job. I have read all of the forms here and tried everyone of them and still nothing!!! So don't give the same thing to try because it won't work! what I need to to find out how to go in maunal in to the printer to rest. Then go in with out software if I can and put in the IP Adress to lock it in.

Greetings @BugB

Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post.

I understand that you are upset that you are unable to configure the printer over wireless. You got the printer to print from you iOS devices.

Kudos to you for trying to troubleshoot the issue on your own.

Not to worry, I will be glad to assist you.

Are you able to make a copy on the printer?

Are you using a dual band router?

Have you enabled SSID broadcast on the printer?

Are the printer and the devices on the same network?

May I know the method you are using to print from your iOS devices? Click here to know about mobile printing solutions.

Note: HP Printers do not work or connect to 5Ghz networks. If you are using a dual band router, please give different names to 2.4Ghz and 5 Ghz networks and connect the printer to the 2.4Ghz network.

As you have mentioned having tried a lot of troubleshooting steps on your own.

Request you uninstall the printer by following the procedure mentioned below.

Install the printer as USB connection.

Once the printer is working with USB connection. Click here to follow the procedure to convert the USB connection to wireless.

Uninstall the printer from "programs and features" which can be accessed by doing a right-click on the Windows button

(Please have the printer Off and disconnected during uninstallation.)

Check in device manager, if the printer is listed there, please delete it. (Right click on the Windows button to access device manager)

Go to devices and printers, select any printer listed there and you will get some options on the top.

Click on print server properties.

You will get a popup, click on the drivers tab and delete all the HP printer drivers listed there, if any.

Delete all the instances of your printer listed in devices and printers.

Restart the PC.

Once the PC is on the desktop, press Win + R, it would bring a Run dialog box,

Type %temp% in the run box and click Ok or hit the Enter button.

It would bring up the temporary files folder. Delete the files in the folder (You might not be able to delete all the files).

If possible, delete the printer from the registries using Regedit or using any other 3rd party application.

Restart the PC again.

Download the latest full feature driver from www.hp.com/drivers and install it on the computer.

Connect the printer to your computer only when the setup prompts for the printer.

Once the printer is working with USB connection. Click here for assistance in converting the USB connection to wireless.

Once you have the printer working with wireless.

Please follow the procedure mentioned below to assign a Static or Manual IP Address to the printer.

  • Obtain the IP address of the printer (which can found by pressing the “wireless” icon on the printer control panel)
  • Enter the IP address on the web browser (Ex: chrome, IE) to enter the printer EWS page.
  • Go to the “Network” tab, click on “Wireless (802.11) then click on “Network address (IPV4)
  • Click on the radio button which says “Manual IP” and then click “Suggest a manual IP address” to give a manual IP address to your printer.

Please follow the exact procedure suggested and I am sure your printer will work fine.

For any service options for your printer, please contact our phone support for assistance.

Hope this helped.
