I have the message on my printer "problem with printhead". Have used HP's scan doctor. Now What?

HP Recommended
HP Officejet Pro 6830
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

My printer says there is a "Problem with Printhead".  I don't know what a printhead is.  Ran HP Scan Doctor and the problem remains.  What do I do?

A Printhead problem indicate an hardware failure which require getting the printer services or replaced.
