INK CARTRIDGES EMPTY

HP deskjet 2542
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I bough 2 brand new Inks (tricolour and black 301) for my printer and ive had them a WEEK and my printer says they are empty !!!

Ive printed less than 50 pages and they are ment to be able to print 190 pages with black and 165 pages with colour!

HP inks are very expensive and after all the messing around to get my printer to actually work reinstalling softwhere ect (its only 2 years old) to then be only able to print for week is rediculous!

I am a student so I have a printer to save me contantly printing at the library ! Normally inks last me a whole term (10 weeks).

Is there somewhere i can apply for a refund or replacement ? they were bought from wilkinsons so do I take this up with them or HP?
