Ink issues

HP Recommended
HP Officejet 4620

My ink was low/out so I changed out my ink cartridge and the print is SUPER faded almost as if I put in a bad catridge although I physically pulled it from the package myself.  I have removed, tapped it over the garbage can, stuck my finger over the part where the ink comes out, all to try to trouble shoot why the ink isn't showing up and I got nothing?  Any tips/clues as to why the ink is not showing up?

I have also ran the ink report and all colors are printed except the black; nothing shows up on the report as if there is no cartridge although when I check the ink levels, the screen shows that it's full???  Please help!

@Origanelle,

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you.

I understand that you are facing print quality issues with your HP Officejet 4620 e-All-in-One Printer.

This issue could occur if the nozzles of the printhead are clogged or the cartridges are not ventilated properly.

Let's go through a few steps to troubleshoot this issue.

And here's the step by step guide for you in the link: Black Ink Not Printing and other Print Quality Issues

Let me know how this works.

You have a good day ahead.
