In the middle of printing a report I got the "out of paper" message. It was not out of paper. I have cleaned the rollers and done all the other suggested solutions.  I can turn the wheels manually. Is there a motor that controls them?

Welcome to the HP Forums. I would be happy to help you with your HP Officejet 6700 printer. I understand that you are getting out of paper error message and you have already done some preliminary troubleshooting.

Don't worry though as I have a few steps to determine the issue and find a solution as well,

  • Turn the printer off and then on again.
  • Check the condition of the paper, and then reload it.
  • Clean the rollers.
  • Reset the printer.
  • Adjust the paper settings in the print driver.

Click here and follow the steps mentioned in the document to fix this issue.

Let me know how it goes.

Cheers.
