Try a different USB cable
Reset the printer.
Refresh the Windows Device Manager.
Uninstall the HP driver and software applications.
Remove unnecessary files and folders.
Turn off programs that run in the background.
Reinstall the HP driver and software applications.
Enable startup programs.
