Installing printer again

HP Recommended
HP Envy 7645
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Printer went off line and could not get it back so unstalled and in trying to reinstall it wants a WSP pin and have no idea what that is.  The printer is hooked up to wireless internet and says it is ready but can not get it on computer  Help  thanks

Hi! @Karen42-37, Welcome to HP forums.

 

I understand when you try to reinstall the printer drivers it is asking for the WPS pin.

 

Don't worry I'd like to help you out.

 

Did you make any changes to your printer?

 

Please try the steps recommended below to know the WPS pin.

 

In Windows, search for view network connections, and select View network connections from the search results.
The Network Connections window opens.
Right-click the network name, then click Status.
The Wi-Fi Status or Wireless Network Connection Status window opens.
Click Wireless Properties.
Click the Security tab, then click the Show characters check box to see the wireless network password.

 

 

Refer this article to know more information about finding the Wireless WEP, WPA, WPA2 Password.
