Why would I want to do that? I have a OfficeJet Pro 8720!

@TheMoose

Thank you for replying,

As I mentioned earlier since none of the previously suggested steps have worked,

You can use this (990c printer) driver as an alternative to the OfficeJet Pro 8720 as it should resolve the issue.

Why don't you give it a try and let me know how it works?

If I have helped you resolve the issue, feel free to give me a virtual high-five by clicking the 'Thumbs Up' icon below,

Followed by clicking on "Accept as solution" from the drop-down menu on the upper right corner,

Thank you for posting in the HP Support Forum.  Have a great day!

Forgive me, I didn't fully understand what you were suggesting.

Do you have instructions on how to do this on a Mac. I seem to be unable to use a different (and in the eyes of my OS, incorrect) drivers?

I am still regularly getting the double vision, the paper creases and have started to get lines through text on documents.

Thanks
