J 3680 all-in-one fax

[ Edited ]
I accidentally deleted the fax from my J3680 all-in-one. Since then I have been unable to get it back and have got several advices from the support centre, including unistalling and re-installing, downloading the software from HP site etc without any success. The send fax button does not appear in the solution centre and the J3600 series fax is not listed in my printers,. Can anyone help? I have Window explorer professional.

Re: J 3680 all-in-one fax/printer: preview & printing photo garbled; printing text OK

H&T Gone Wrong with HP36000001.jpgAll of a sudden, machine went bonkers when I try to print a photo. Printing a Word text document is fine. I do not think that there is something wrong with the actual hardware and printing heads etc. as even the preview, before even printing, is already garbled. It is as if something has gone wrong in the brains of the damned thing. I tried reloading drivers and whatever help was available on the HP site, but to no avail. Contacted HP but they said my printer is out of guaranty so they can't help. I have taken a digital microscope photo of what pastry chefs call "Hundreds and Thousands" and printed the garbled photo (after viewing the garbled preview). Then I printed the same photo on a 15-year old HP DeskJet 720C (printed fine). Then I scanned both pictures using the culprit J3680 and it scanned fine. I saved both pictures in order to be able to attach them here and will do so if I get the instructions right. As I am fairly old (75) I may be doing something wrong without knowing it. Can anybody help, pleaseH&T Printed OK on old HP720C0001.jpg?
