Laserjet 1536 - Refuses to print more than one document without rebooting computer

Same thing happens from gmail, Word, Excel and PDF.

 

In Word - the error message is "Word is preparing to background print" then it just freezes

After reading your post about the issue you are having with your LaserJet Pro M1536dnf printing, I would suggest the steps in the guide below. Note that the title is not your exact issue, however the steps are also recommended for the type of issue you are experiencing.

 

Print Jobs are Stuck in the Print Queue

 

 

If the issue continues after troubleshooting, please respond to me with which OS you are running, how your printer is connected to your computer and if the problem occurs when you print from Notepad or your from a web browser.

Am running Windows 7 Home Premium. Tried fix it download from HP - didn't help. Tried resetting "spooling" - didn't help. When trying to print from Firefox - it just says "preparing" and then goes into endless loop similar to Word/Excel/Adobe. Not sure how to print from Notepad.

Have uninstalled drivers and software and reinstalled from orignal CD - problem is still same.  New ideas?
