My Deskjet 9300 printer is making squeeling noises when it prints and it's been getting worse. It seems like simple lubrication would resolve this, however I don't know what to lubricate or what procedure to do so. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would like to inform you that HP printers don't need any lubrication and it is not recommended you to use any oil or lubricant.  I recommend you to update the firmware of the printer and check if it helps.

Follow the steps in the below article to update the firmware.
