M1522N - Windows 7 - Toolbox keeps failing - HP Laserjet Service

HP Recommended

Laserjet M1522N using latest drivers from http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=3442751&... on Windows 7 32Bit.

 

Install kept faling with issues relating to HP laserjet service. Manually removed service and reinstall and still kicked up an error with a blank box! but guess still linked to HP Laserjet service.

 

Installs, but on reboot, can not see printer and printing is really really slow.

 

Tried a few remove and reinstall

 

is there a utility which will completely remove all traces of the software.

 

is there more up to date software beyond 4.3.

 

At present unable to scan and it is really annoying.

 

Where to now?
