Hi @SUSYFLORIDAKEYS,

Thanks for stopping by the HP community. A very good day to you. 🙂 I reviewed the post regarding the printer not making any copies. I will be glad to assist you here.

Terrific description and superb diagnosis of the issue before posting. Kudos to you for that. 🙂 You are a valued HP customer and it is paramount to assist you with it. I take it as a privilege to share this platform with you. 🙂

  • Did you bypass power strips and connect the printer directly to the wall outlet?
  • Did you perform a hard reset on the printer?

For a start, please perform these steps.

  • Please bypass power strips.
  • Please perform a hard reset on the printer by clicking on this link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-photosmart-6510-e-all-in-one-printer-series-b211/5058334/mod...  please perform only step 1 from this link.
  • Then clean the flatbed and the ADF glass.
  • Please try to make 10 blank copies so that ink does not get wasted by placing only blank papers in the flatbed and the ADF.
  • Now try to make a few copies from the flatbed and the ADF and check if it copies fine.
  • Please update the printer’s firmware from this link: http://hp.com/drivers Please follow the on-screen instructions.
  • Then check if it copies fine. If it still does not copy, then the printer has a hardware issue and needs to be replaced.

Please contact HP phone support to get this done.

Step 1. Open link: www.hp.com/contacthp/

Step 2. Enter Product number or select to auto detect

Step 3. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"

Step 4. Scroll down and click: HP contact options - click on Get phone number, Case number and phone number appear.

They will be happy to assist you immediately. If the unit is under warranty repair services is taken care of by the manufacturer’s warranty

Hope this helps. Let me know how this goes. I genuinely hope the issue gets resolved without hassles and the unit works great.

To simply say thanks, please click the "Thumbs Up" button to give me a Kudos to appreciate my efforts to help. If this helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution” as it will help several others with the same issue to get it resolved without hassles.

Take care now and have a splendid week ahead. 🙂
