HP ENVY 4520

I have bought a HP printer in Argos on the 4/10/15. (I know it is out of warranty). The printer has been working fine, however a month or 2 ago I bought more HP ink for it in Argos (I have only ever bought my ink there as I work there so ive always had genuine cartridges. The most recent ink i put in said it wasnt genuine, then i bought a new one and it is not working in it at all, it is asking me to replace it and i bought yet another one with the same message coming up. I have wasted so much money on this and would love some advice.
