My HP ENVY 5643 won't connect to WIFI

My printer was working fine. Just recently it stopped connecting to the WIFI. I have tried reseting my router and nothing. When I have the printer search for nearby wireless it can not find anything. When I manually imput the SSID it says that it network can not be found. I have already tried unplugging it and waiting 60 seconds and plugging it back in. Nothing works. When I check my hp icon on my laptop it says the device is either off or disconnected when it clearly is on!

Super frustrating. Help!

Hi there @EP99

Thanks for joining the HP Forums, I'd be happy to help you with your Envy 5643. I see from your description that the printer has recently stopped connecting to the WiFi, and despite your efforts the printer can not find your network.

I found a couple documents that will help guide you through the necessary troubleshooting specific to connectivity. Please complete the recommended solutions and let me know the outcome of your efforts:

HP Printers - Printer Does Not Maintain Wireless Connection

HP Printers - Printer Not Found During Network Driver Setup (Windows)

If any of the suggested solutions in one of the above documents resolves the issue, please be sure to click the Accept as Solution button below to mark your post as solved. If the issue persists, let me know and I will gladly do all I can to help you work towards a resolution.

Thanks.

Easy stuff first.  Power off printer and router.  Power on router and wait 3 mins.  Power on printer and verify it connects to your router.  Status now?
