Hi @KJ07

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I see that you are facing connectivity issues with HP Printer.

I suggest you reinstall the driver and connect the printer to check if that fixes the issue.

You can follow the steps under this link to uninstall.

Furthermore, you can reinstall using HP App from this link.

Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution. Click the “Kudos/Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Thanks Treeko.  That may help those unfamiliar with the procedures.

My previous posts advised that the solution provided by NETech worked.

The important point was to use drivers downloaded from HP - specific to your printer.

If you plug a new printer into a Windows computer, it will most likely be installed automatically but using drivers built into Windows.  It would seem that HP have corrected the problem in drivers available from their support site.

Therefore it is necessary to uninstall the default drivers using the information provided by Treeko.

Just to be sure, I also reinstalled the HP app (also from HP support) before installing the HP drivers for my printer.  Then install the HP drivers and then connect the printer and it will be reinstalled using the drivers which do not appear to have this problem.

My laser jet printer HP 426dw prints multiple pages after each print job.  how do I stop this additional printing from occurring. The additional pages are mostly blank but for the same 4 lines at the top of each page that reads:

Content length 179,

Content Type: application/ ipp

Hello Aalam143.  It's the same problem as for the M201dw which started this thread.  It affects a wide range of HP printers.

Just follow the advice given in previous responses but installing the drivers for your specific printer.

Hi @FrankB123

You can run a complete diagnostic check on the printer from the HP print and scan doctor app here, isolate the issue.

Once downloaded, open the tool, click on add printer on top and select your printer and click on fix printing option and follow the on screen instructions to complete the diagnostic test and resolve the same.

Hi I'm having the same issue - lots of extra pages after each print job, with a few lines of code at the top of each). would you be able to provide instructions on how to resolve? Thank you!

Hi, I have a Laser Jet Pro M225dn with the same problem printing mulitple pages with code after each print job.

I have tried all the solutions suggested (NVRAM reset, various switching off and on, Scan doctor, uninstalling and re-installing drivers direct from HP) and nothing works. I am running Windows 11 on a laptop, connecting to printer via USB (can't connect using WiFi as it won't detect) although the printer shows a history of Windows 10? HP App can detect it but says status unknown. HP can you help further?
