My Photosmart C6180 photos colors off

My Photosmart C6180 photos are not printing colors, brightness and contrast the same as what I see on my monitor.  Is it the program I am using to print them?  They used to be almost the same as the picture I saw on my monitor but now much darker.  Computer is HP M9040n with Vista.  Monitor is Viewsonic VA550.

I understand your photos are not as expected. I would take a look at this document.

Re: My Photosmart C6180 photos colors off

Thanks Gary but that document does not address my problem.  The colors and contrast/brightness are not coming out as on my monitor.  This is a recent problem.  Is there anywhere in the photosmart to do a color adjustment?  Or is it a monitor problem maybe.  I used to be able to print a photo and it was almost the same as what I saw on my screen.  Lu
