Greetings @JG18,

Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post.

I understand that you are looking to set up your printer on wireless and are looking for a driver.

Don't worry, I will glad to help.

However for me to be able to assist you, I would require some more information.

Are you able to print through USB?

Have you connected the printer to your wireless router?

May I know the procedure you are using to configure the printer?

All HP printers run only on 2.4Ghz networks and not on a 5Ghz network.

Please make sure you are connecting the printer only to a 2.4Ghz network on 802.11b/g only. Click here for the specifications.

There is no separate wireless driver available to configure the printer on your computer.

If you are able to print through USB. Please refer to this HP Article for assistance in converting the USB to wireless.

Please have the computer connected to 2.4 GHz networks for you to be able to configure the printer on the computer.

Refer to page number 6 in the printer manual for assistance. Click here for the manual

Let me know if this helped.

Hmm- this is a newer computer without a CDrom.  The printer is connected to the wireless.  it is recognized by my computer.  I print with the SB cord inserted.  How do I get around the no cdrom?

Thanks for the reply, please follow the procedure mentioned below to uninstall the printer.

Uninstall the printer from programs and features from the control panel. (Please have the printer Off and disconnected during uninstallation.)

Check in device manager, if the printer is listed there, please delete it.

Go to devices and printers, select any printer listed there and you will get some options on the top.

Click on print server properties.

You will get a popup, click on the drivers tab and delete all the HP printer drivers listed there, if any.

Delete all the instances of your printer listed in devices and printers.

Restart the PC.

Once the PC is on the desktop, press Win + R, it would bring a Run dialog box,

Type %temp% in the run box and click Ok or hit the Enter button.

It would bring up the temporary files folder. Delete the files in the folder (You might not be able to delete all the files, ignore them).

If possible, delete the printer from the registries using Regedit or using any other 3rd party application.

Restart the PC again.

Download the latest full feature driver from www.hp.com/drivers or click here and install it on the computer.

Follow the procedure mentioned in this link.

Connect the printer to your computer only when the setup prompts for the printer.

Keep me posted.
