Network Folder Setup

My HP 8500A Officejet has lost the path to my compter for its network folders.  However, when I attemp to use the Embedded Web Server, and click on "Network Folder Setup" (as per the doc) I'm taken to this page - https://hpoccam.local./#hId-NetworkFolderAccounts - which is blank.

Any ideas.  I'm using Safari 5.1 and have turned off the popup blocker.

Re: Network Folder Setup

Same for me, except I'm trying to get into "Additional Settings" for my printer.  I click on the link for hpoccam.local and it takes me to a blank page.  Very frustrating!

Re: Network Folder Setup

I am having the same problem.

Sometimes it works, most of the times it does not.

Anyone have suggestions as to what is going on?

I am on a Mac and use Safari.

Re: Network Folder Setup

It sounds like the EWS of the printer doesn't like Safari.  Try using Chrome, Firefox, or IE and see if that helps.  Let me know what happens.

Re: Network Folder Setup

Thanks, I thought that might be the problem.

I installed FireFox and it worked.

Pretty pathetic that a company as large as HP can not design relatively simple web pages that work on the major browsers.
