New LaserJet Pro MFP M426fdw Printing A Blank Page Before Each Print Job

This unit is only a few months old and is having a very strange problem.  Any time a copy or a fax is made or sent, the first page (or pages) is / are blank, but when you immediately resubmit the page or pages it either prints or is faxed out okay.  However, if you wait even a couple of minutes the problem reoccurs; you have to hit either the "Copy" or "Fax" button immediately or it somehow resets and goes back to printing or faxing blank pages.  This happens whether or not it's 1 page or 10 pages and whether you're trying to copy or trying to fax.  The first "job" is always blank and the second job which immediately  follows prints or faxes just fine, but if you wait even a minute or two you're back to Square One and the output is blank.  The unit is not used for printing from a computer, if that makes any difference, only for copying and faxing and it has been working perfectly up until a few days ago.  It's like the internal scanner function doesn't work until it has "cycled" through one job or session.   Any insight would be appreciated...

I understand that you are facing issues with your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M426fdw wherein the first page is copied blank.

This issue could occur if the firmware is not updated.

I will double-check but I think the firmware has been updated within the last 3 months.  My suspicion is that the scanner in the document feeder is malfunctioning.  My thought is to see if it will copy (and perhaps fax if that is possible) from the glass bed of the unit; that may tell the tale of what is going on here.  What are the symptoms of the document feeder scanner going bad?

I understand that you will update the firmware and check. Also, I see that you are facing this issue while copying from the document feeder.

This issue could occur if the rollers of the document feeder are dusty.
