I've just bought a printer and set it up to the wireless network, same as my computer.  I've tried printing and I keep getting an error message saying that my computer can't communicate with the printer and the printer validation failed.  It also says to set up the printer with the computer again, but I never did that.  How is the computer picking it up if it hasn't been set up together (it's not plugged into the comp), and how do I make it work?

@fstailslide,

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you.

I understand that you are facing issues with connecting your HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 3835 All-in-One Printer to the wireless network.

This issue could occur if the wireless setup is not correct.

Let's go through a few steps to troubleshoot this issue.

And here's the step by step guide for you in the link: Wireless Printer Setup

Let me know how this works.

You have a good day ahead.
