Product: Deskjet 1112

My old printer Deskjet 1012, used HP 61 ink.  A few weeks ago, I ran out of ink so I purchased one new HP 61XL cartridge.  As soon as I installed the new cartridge, the printer developed a paper feed problem that is not worth fixing.  I got a Deskjet 1112 printer for a replacement but discovered that the HP 61 cartridge will not install in the new printer; the new printer requires HP 63.

 

Will HP give me credit for the new HP 61XL cartridge that is no longer needed (because my new HP printer doesn't take it)?

HP Recommended

If the 61XL is new in the original unopened package, HP may take it back.   Contact HP to see.
