New printer won't print files

My new HP OfficeJetPro 6978 will not print anything for me. The queue says it is stopped with a file sitting in it. My operating system is Mac El Capitan. I followed the steps even though I’m not really savvy at this but perhaps I missed something or something didn’t finish. Any help out there?

Hi! @CindyVH, Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums!

I understand that you are unable to print any files using a MAC computer.

Have you tried performing a copy function? If copy function doesn't work try resetting the printing system.

Refer this article for more information: http://hp.care/2f9ksug

Please try the steps and let me know how it goes!

Cheers! 🙂
