Solved!

No scanner detected

HP Recommended
HP 3050A All in One Series J11
Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)

Have had this Printer for several years - different laptops.  Always have had problem.  Now it says "no scanner detected".  Do not have original disks to reload.  Can you please help.  Am only trying to scan on the printer not from the computer.   Printer connects to computer without problems.
