OfficeJet 8600 plus
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an 8600 plus officejet printer.

I have setup the email preferences so I can email directly from my printer.

All my usernames and passwords have been updated.

When I try to send an email, it's telling me that the username or password is invalid.

What can I do?

This is a great location to get assistance! I read your post and see that your  HP Officejet 8600 printer  is asking for user name and password while scanning to email. I would like to help you resolve this issue.

Unplugging the router for 30 seconds, once it is back up turn the printer off and on again and check for any difference.

If the same persists try setting an alternative DNS address and check if that may help resolving any connectivity issue.

Enter the EWS page and go to Network.

Next go to IPv4 under the active connection type.

Under DNS Address Configuration select Manual.

Set the preferred address as 8.8.8.8 and the alternate as 8.8.4.4

Apply the changes and check for any difference.

To access the EWS click the network icon on the printer screen to locate its IP address.. enter the IP address into your web browser.

Let me know how it goes.

Cheers.
