I installed the OfficeJet 4500 G510n printer using the CD that came with the printer. I am using a Dell Laptop with Windows 7. The printer does not show up under Windows 7 Devices and Printers. But, the printer does show up in Microsoft Word and I am able to print to it. If I try to add a printer in Devices and Printers, it will show up as OfficeJet 4500 G510n (Copy 1). What do I need to do to get the printer to show up in Windows 7 Devices and Printers?

I think I found the answer...there is a "Bluetooth Support Service" in Windows 7 services. Mine was set to start manually. Once I started it, the OfficeJet 4500 appeared in Devices and Printers. I set the startup to automatic. I have no idea if there are any potential problems associated with having this service start automatically, but it seems fine so far (and the printer now shows up).

I found that going to Windows Explorer and clicking on Network will show the Deskjet 4500 under the Printers Heading.
Double click on the Deskjet 4500 printer icon and it will install drivers and then the printer will show in the Devices and Printers Screen. You can then set Printing Preferences and Printer Properties and Default Printer.
