OfficeJet 8500 ejects multiple blank pages with printed sheet

HP Recommended
OfficeJet Pro 8500
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I am experienceing two intermittent issues. I have the most updated drive software installed and these issues have only recently begun.  I am using HP paper, and recently my OfficeJet Pro 8500 intermittently

1.  spits out 2-3 blank pages inbetween each printed page, and also,

2. 'drags' multiple sheets through the printer when printing a sheet.

Can someone suggest how to correct either or both please?

@SCBest5318,

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you.

I understand that you are facing issues with your HP Officejet Pro 8500 All-in-One Printer wherein it picks multiple pages while printing and also ejects multiple blank pages.

This issue could occur if the rollers are dusty.

Let's go through a few steps to troubleshoot this issue.

And here's the step by step guide for you in the link: More Than One Page at a Time Feeds through the All-in-One

Let me know how this works.

You have a good day ahead.
