My printer is only around 2 months old.
The display is either extremely faint, so much so that I am unable to read it or it is blank.
I can't scan!
On the Screen, touch the Home icon to bring up the selection options.
Arrow over to Setup.
In the Setup Menu, scroll or arrow down to Preferences.
Scroll or arrow down to Screen brightness.
Move the slider over to the right all the way.
Tap the OK button.
Does this help?
If not, the screen may be bad.
If its only 3 months old, its still under warranty.
Contact HP Support directly.
Follow the prompts to setup a support ticket and contact an advisor.
