I too am having trouble with an HP8500 909g printer with having the printer recognise a new cartridge. I posted at the end of the other post but it is tagged solved so I started a nwe one. I have done all that was suggested int eh previous thread, but to no avail. We have tried two new cartridges, reset the printer to factory defaults, unplugged it, everything but what we want to do and that is set it on fire in the parking lot. PLEASE HELP. $70 in ink today and still no ability to print
