Hello All-

I think if you can run about 30-50 blank copies through the printer, it will exercise the pick motor and could help with card stock issue.

I hope this helps.

Also, remember a click on the Kudos star to the left is a quick "Thanks" for a helpful post.

Your Welcome.

If this dosen't work, I will walk you through installing a different print driver. I Think i know of one that supports Thick Photo Paper.

You have been awesome at trying to help with my issue!  I called HP and they updated firmware and also the print driver.  Basically, I can print on cardstock about 1 out of 10 tries.  Sometimes 2-3 sheets of cardstock will go through, one right after the other, but that is extremely rare.  I've just come to the conclusion that I bought the wrong printer.  Thanks, again, for trying to help me!!

I have been having the same problem. It's extremely frustrating. The only thing that work for me was to slightly curl the card stock with a pencil like some one suggested. It's not a great fix, but at least it works!

If you solve this please let me know at kaablueii@yahoo.com.  I have been trying to print invitations on cardstock. The card feeds with no problem, but then I get a paper mismatch error in the printer window. When I push OK the card that was feed in ejects.  I have posted my info on this site and not gotten a single reply.

Make sure you have selected both the paper size AND the paper type from the print screen on your computer and if you have been doing that, make sure the printer's firmware is up to date because I believe they sent out a firmware to specifically address this issue.

Don't forgot to say thanks by giving "Kudos" if I helped solve your problem.
