PHOTOSMART 5520 print quality via iPhone

HP Recommended
PHOTOSMART 5520
iOS

I try to print some picture from my iphone6 directly via eprint/wifi, but the quaility seems not very good.

Picture tends to be very 'dark' compare with what you saw on the screen.

After sending this file to my  windows or Mac, and print out from that, the quaility was OK.  Colour was much brighter and very similar to what its look on screen.

I wonder what is the cause of this problem.  Mainly the problem from iPhone?

Can it be fix?

Hey @William86,

Welcome to the HP Support Forums!

I see that you are having some issues with dark printing from your iPhone to your Photosmart 5520 e-All-In-One Printer. I can help you with that.

What we'll do instead of using Apple's built in printing software, we'll use the HP printing software instead. To get the app, in the Apple Store do a search for HP ePrint and download the free app. When you would like to print, open the HP ePrint app, find the photo you wish to print, and select Print.

Please let me know if this allows you to print brighter or if you have any other questions. Otherwise, have a great day!
