Our office just changed to Windows 10. I have an HP Officejet 6500 Wirelsss. We are not using the wireless, it is attached via USB port.
I am not able to get faxes or scan any documents. It can be printed to but I only use it for scanning and faxing.
Our IT person has attempted to help but has so far not been able to get the proper configuration.
Can anyone help me with a fix for this situation?

I understand that you cannot scan, or receive faxes with your HP Officejet 6500 wireless printer, on Windows 10. And, I am happy to help you with these issues!
To confirm the printer's hardware is functional, are you able to make a copy with the printer's scanner glass? Copying a Two-Sided Original.
For the scanning issue, please try the steps within this guide, USB Scanner Connection is Lost (Windows).
Regarding the faxing, what type of phone service do you have, analog, or digital? Analog Phone System vs. Digital Phone System.
