Recently, I get the message "Paper too long to auto-du[plex."  I'm using letter-sized paper and that's what is in all of the printer settings.  Every time I try to print, that message popd up.  When I say "OK" it ptrints.  How do I end this??

The "fix" you referred to is for A4 Paper.  I'm using letter paper.  This message just popped up about a month ago.  I'm using Windows 10, 64-Bit.  I've downloaded any drivers for the printer that are new.  Everything says I'm using Letter sized paper and should pring two-sided.  Once I click "OK" on the error message, it prints just fine.  Just a big pain to have to go through yet another step to get the printer to print.  It worked fine for over a year.

Thank you for replying with this overwhelming and detailed response 😉

I appreciate your time and efforts,

Have you attempted to select letter paper and follow the other instructions exactly as mentioned to check if it works,

As the article sent is generic and isn't specific solution to A4 size paper alone as mentioned on my previous post that the header/title may be different.

Please follow the steps according and keep me post,

Been there, done that.  My printer was working just perfectly until this message poped up the first time.  I tried to find out then but nothing seems to stop the message.  I've uninstalled the printger, deleted the drivers and re-installed the pringter.  Same message every time I try to print.  Should be an easy fix for you experts at HP.

Thank you for replying with this overwhelming and detailed response 😉

I appreciate your time and efforts,

I recommend you delete the driver at the root level and retry, follow the steps below:

In Windows, search for and open Programs and features

2.) Select your HP Printer

3.) Select Uninstall

4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers

5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose `Delete' or `Remove Device'

6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.

7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between "printui.exe" and "/s")

8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab

9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom

10.) Select Ok

11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows

12.) Close Devices and Printers

And then install the full feature drivers/software from HP: Click here to find it.

Keep me posted,

If the information I've provided was helpful,

Give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,

That'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Good Luck.
