Photosmart 5510 Ink Cartridge Access Door makes cracking noise

When i open my Photosmart 5510's Ink Cartridge Access Door it makes some loud cracking noise.

Has anyone the same problem?

Or anyone know how to fix thes problem

Photosmart 5510 Ink Cartridge Access Door makes cracking noise

Hi MHKA1379,

 

The printer can make loud noises if the carriage cannot move freely. Refer the document in the link below:

Under Solution three, follow the steps to 'check carriage path for obstructions'. Check for and remove any loose paper or objects that might be restricting the movement of carriage left and right.

Note: Use a flashlight to illuminate the area.

 

If that does not help follow the steps to ensure 'posts in the cartridge parking area are not blocking the carriage' and 'cartridges are not touching the printer cover'.
