Solved!

Pink?

Ok, this is driving me crazy.  The printer is printing everything in pink/magenta.  I have cleaned the printer heads, replaced the ink, run the scans and it seems to think it is just fine........

Could the printer head need replacing?  It is not telling me it is.........

Thanks for any help!

Hey there @Kirby2,

Welcome to the HP Forums:)

I came across your post about your Officejet L7580 printing everything out in magenta, and I wanted to respond with my own suggestions to help. Please try the steps from the link I posted for you below to try to work through the issue. If the other colors continue to not print out, contact HP directly to discuss a replacement printer or an upgraded printer.

I have just found a solution (for my new officejet 250 mobile all in one that was printing pink).

My black cartridge was running out. So I put in a new one. Printing came out faint and pink.

Maybe faulty cartridge I thought. So put in new one. Printing came out faint and pink.

Started looking up help forums and thinking it can't be printer heads, this is a new printer.

Decided to change color cartridge on a whim.

Hey presto! It works.

So even though I was printing grey scale, the printer was not going to give me good quality printing until I changed the color cartridge as well.

Hope this might help someone.
