OfficeJet Pro 6968
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Just downloaded the printer drivers and software and test pages print great.  However, when I try to print a doc. I get the following message, "Print driver host for 32bit application has stopped working.  A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.  Please close the program."

I have no idea why this is happening.  Any ideas?  Thank you!

Hello and welcome to the HP Forums!

Please let me know on which windows you are trying to install the printer?

The error message indicates that driver application is not been able to respond and it could have been due to printer registry files or print spooler could have been stopped on your pc.

You may try to do a Power cycle on your pc after removing or uninstalling all the printer applications.

Make sure that you are trying to install Full driver package downloaded from internet.
