Print Extended Self-Test -- HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 5525

HP Recommended

How can I print an extended self-test on HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 5525? (I mean the extended self-test, not the normal nozzle check print usually find on the driver GUI or the Tool menu on the printer).

Does printing the extended self-test do any harm to my printer? Can I continue to use the printher after printing it?

Thanks.

Hi thanhhuy456,

The Self Test, the Extended Self Test and the Printer Status Report are different names for the same report.  See Solution 1, Step 2 for directions.  There is also a Print Quality Report.  See Solution 6, Step 1 for instructions.

There is no harm done to the printer when these reports are printed, but they may use more ink than for typical printing {especially the Print Quality Report}.  Once the reports are printed, you should be able to carry on with additional printing.

Also, remember a click on the Kudos star to the left is a quick "Thanks" for a helpful post.
