Print Quality

HP Photosmart 6520
Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

I just put new ink cartridges and my black is not printing.  All levels show full but the Diagnoistic shows just a black outline and empty in the inside.  All other colors are ok.  I cleaned the printhead but can't find where the alignment is?  Can anyone help with this problem?

Thanks!

Print Quality

Hey @cmccart9,

Welcome to the HP Support Forums! I hope you enjoy your stay here.

I understand that you are having some issues with printing in black from your Photosmart 6525 e-All-In-One Printer. I can help you with that.

This document outlines how to troubleshoot print quality issues with your printer. If you reach any directions asking you to replace the cartridges or service the printer, then instead contact HP support directly. You can do so by clicking on this link and filling out the form at the bottom.

Please let me know if this resolves your issues or if you have any other questions. Otherwise, have a great day!
