Suddenly my printer won't print- it's about 6 months old. I'm getting a print head error message, and refer to the manual which states print heads are under 1yr warranty. I also look at online forums and see that this is an issue for many 6800 series....so... Call HP support, am initially told that warranty was only 6 months (until I mention the manual that states 1 year). Rep proceeds to ask to access my personal computer to "diagnose" the issue. He then goes through all the updates I KNOW I haven't done and tells me that this is why my printer won't work. But for $299 he can fix my laptop AND replace my printer. When I declined, because I do have a regular tech guy, he dismisses me with a different 800 number. Which refers me to go online. Which (the link for my product) then refers me to a blank page. I know this is an issue with the product. I have done my updates, scans, and cleared my caches. I don't appreciate this scam by HP and will never purchase your garbage again!!!
