My new printer (LaserJet MFP M277dw) was installed and had been working great. Today, I am getting a message indicating that the printer is not responding.
My computer operating system is a Mac Sierra 10.12.4
All network connections have been checked and are properly working. Can someone help?
Thanks.

Hi! @marykingsheart, Thanks for stopping by HP forums!
I understand you are getting printer is not responding error on your MAC.
Don't worry I'd like to help you out.
Did you make any changes to your printer?
Please try the steps recommended below.
Reset the printing system:
- Go to System Preferences > Print & Scan
- Right (or control) click in the rectangle listing your printers and select Reset Printing System.
WARNING - this will delete ALL of your printers!
- Select the plus sign to re-add a printer. Select the Default tab on the top of the window. Look for the printer, select it and then next to the "Use" pulldown, select the printer model (not AirPrint). Wait until the "Add" button becomes available. Click it.
Also, try the steps recommended below.
Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet, or the power strip or surge suppressor, and from the back of the product.
Inspect the power cord for visible damage.
If the power cord shows any damage, contact HP to replace the power cord.
Wait at least 30 seconds, and then plug the disconnected power cord into an electrical outlet. Do not use a power strip or surge suppressor.
Reconnect the power cord to the product.
Turn on the product.
If the product still does not turn on, connect the product to an electrical outlet in another room, and then turn on the product.
If the product turns on, the electrical outlet in the original room caused the issue.
If the product still does not turn on, continue to the next solution.
Hope to hear from you soon!
Take Care! 🙂
