Does anyone have any experience of their HP multi-function machine not closing its lid properly? Every time anyone lifts the flatbed cover on ours to copy or scan a document/book/magazine/bum, it won't close again properly. Either one end or the other sticks up afew milimeters and, potentially, will cause a document misfeed if the next user uses the document feeder. BTW, not serious about that last item for scanning.

@P2PFlag,

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you.

I understand that the lid of the flatbed scanner does not close properly.

This could be a hardware issue with the scanner lid.

Hence, you may contact HP Phone Support for further assistance at the link: www.hp.com/contacthp

You have a good day ahead.
