HP Envy 4520

Have only printed approx 7 to 8 documents on new printer.  Started having problems with black going missing.

i ran print quality diagnostic test & it showed slight problem with black so I followed instructions to clean cartridges.  It didn't fix problem so I left it. Now when I use printer it won't print any black at all even though HP app says I have plenty of black ink!!

@AnnieD3,

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out.

I understand that you are unable to print in black from your HP Envy 4520 e-All-in-One Printer.

This issue could occur if the nozzles of the black print cartridge are damaged or not working.

Don't worry as I have a few steps that should help fix this issue.

And here's the step by step guide for you in the link: Color or Black Ink Not Printing

Let me know how that works.

You have a good day ahead.
