Printhead

My printer is not printing and shows a "problem with printhead" on the screen. When I go to printer maintenance on the settings it doesnt even open. It pops up then shuts down taking me back to the menu page. So I cant manually clean the printhead plus i have no clue how to take out the printhead. What should I do next? My work relies on me being able to print things out so I need help ASAP.

The printhead error on the Officejet 6830 will require service from HP, the printhead is not removable.

From a post by Sunshyn2005, to contact HP Support see the following link to create yourself a case number, then call and it may help speed up the call process:

Step 1. Open link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
Step 2. Enter Product number or select to auto detect
Step 3. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"
Step 4. Scroll down and click on: HP contact options - click on Get phone number

Case number and phone number appear.
