Printing Support for HP Printers

We are using HP Printers in large numbers located miles apart for our application. We are doing centralized printing across the network in those printers. PDF printing is causing a lot of dependency on third party components. Sometimes the locking of print drivers cause the print queues to corrupt.

My question is about Pdf Printing vs XPS printing. Which one is better when we deal with large amounts of prints from a centralized print server??

Can anyone tell me the best way for printing?

Re: Printing Support for HP Printers

Thank you for using HP printers! HP printers do support XPS and PDF printing. As for the benefits of one format vs. the other, there are many independent reviews of each file format.

PDF has been around longer and has recently become more open. Microsoft developed XPS and Adobe create PDF originally. Here are a few articles to consider, but you can easily review and determine which format is best for your environment.
