Hi @CamBam,

Thanks for reaching out to the HP Support Forums for a solution to your printing issue.

I understand that you are using an HP Officejet Pro 8500A e-All-in-One Printer with a Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite computer and you are trying to print on "silhouette printable clear sticker paper" but the ink is smudging. I would like to help with that.

I did a little Google searching and found that someone who was having some trouble with smudging ink on the Silhouette Clear Sticker Paper was able to resolve the issue by setting the print quality to 'Draft', and by also selecting 'Transparency' as the Paper Type. Here is a support document that can help if you have questions about how to adjust those settings - Printing and Changing Print Settings (OS X).

Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance.

In fact, if this helps you to reach a solution please click the "Accept as Solution", and the "thumbs up" buttons down below in this message. 🙂

Thanks!

Please click “Accept as Solution ” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
