Problems since using Universal Pritner Driver PCL 6.3.0 with tiny lines

Univ. Printing Driver PCL 6.3
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi,

i have a Problems with the output of formulars with tiny lines generated wir PDF XChange 5.5 (have to use this version) and Eclipse Birth  3.7.2 (have to use this version) and HP universal printing driver pcl 6.3. The lines are thick like 5 mm. everything is ok if i turn off print optimization but that is not an option because printing is getting slow. With HP universal printing driver 6.1 is every thing ok but we have to use the latest drivers.

any ideas?

Greetings

Mike

Please clarify what your requirements are for using the UPD version 6.3.  Without more info I'd suggest getting an exception to stick to the 6.1 driver if that is what is working for you.  Wait for the next release from HP and see if they resolve the problem.  Thats what we do.

Or try a different UPD.  Instead of PCL6 try PS or PCL5.

If you cannot wait for the next UPD release or use a different UPD language then you might want to call HP and start a case.  User a printer that has remaining warranty when you call in.  Perhaps there is a bug that needs to be brought to thier attention.
